Rolling V1.0 Patch Notes

Note: Apologies for posting the patch notes here late, but these are copy and pasted from my website.

It's finally here! Rolling V1.0 released just a few hours ago, here's everything you need to know:

Big Changes

  • 6 Brand-new adventures.

    • New level challenge: Timed Levels
      • Beat the level as fast as possible in a certain amount of time! Be on the move quickly, there's not much time to spare.
    • Many new course elements
      • Power-ups
        • Speed Power-up: This power-up is a yellow ball that speeds you up.
        • Ghost Power-up: This power-up is a clear white ball that makes your character look like a ghost and go through some structures.
        • Fireball Power-up: This power-up can only be obtained through fire. It temporarily makes the player stronger and push heavy objects easier.
      • Pillars: This looks like a big black cylinder pillar, but be sure to not hit it while going fast, or else you might bounce off the course!
      • Lasers: This semi-transparent red beam will electrocute you if you touch it, but it will turn off after a few seconds.
    • And last but not least... Checkpoints!: This feature will save your position in a level, and the game will congratulate you!
    • The title screen now has a nice little playable course for you.
    • 3 new level editor elements: Pillars, Speed Power-up, and the Ghost Power-up.
    • A few new shop changes:
      • 2 new costumes: Top Hat Ball, and Tie Ball.
      • Snazzy shop music, produced by the amazing Unicorn Heads.
      • Introducing: Money Guy, this guy sits on the left of your screen as a nice little guide for the shop.
      • New "Celebrations" section, this is for the sound that plays when you finish a level. Not yet in use.

    Other changes

  • Coins are no longer solid objects. You can go through them, so now it isn't more of an obstacle!

    • Level 6 was re-done a bit because I removed the word puzzles.
    • Level editor element limit was raised from 75 to 125.
    • You can now right-click to delete elements in the level editor.
    • The settings menu got a few new settings.
    • Also fixed the "2020 NBGames" typo, the game was not developed in 2020.

So there you have it, those are all the changes in the V1.0/Release of Rolling! I hope you guys enjoy it.
